The Netherlands will help Ukraine to develop the logistics of the Dnipro

Ukraine and the Netherlands agreed to intensify cooperation in the sphere of development of inland waterways and port infrastructure. 
Ukraine and the Netherlands agreed to hold “the Initiative for the development of the Dnieper», which will include joint work on development of inland waterways in Ukraine.

Reached a preliminary agreement on organization of the visit of representatives of state bodies of Ukraine, responsible for the sphere of water infrastructure in the Netherlands with the purpose of acquaintance with experience of inland waterways management. Special attention was paid to discussion of problems of modernization of gateways and development of the operating strategy of the reform of inland waterways.

The parties also discussed the issues of public-private partnerships in infrastructure. The Dutch side is ready to provide experts on public-private partnership for the operation of the Office of public-private partnership under the Ministry.
